Description
Our client are a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Oracle Application Support App Support Analyst to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and support systems as per requirements.
This role is a 1st and 2nd line support role and will cover work streams coming to the service desk that require assistance on the R12 Oracle Solution. We want the successful person to support calls with very little or no supervision.
The successful applicant will
Experience in providing application support in a Windows or Unix environment.
This must include the following
Supporting applications.
Implementing applications (including upgrades).
Supplier Liaison.
Documenting processes to agreed Standards.
Experience in the planning, installation and configuration of new releases of software; system testing, and co-ordinating work with external software or service suppliers, ensuring minimum disruption is caused to the operational service during the upgrade.
