Mulesoft Tech Architect - India - Start ASAP - Remote (MCIA and MCPA Certificate required)
next Ventures key client based in India seeks an experienced MCIA and MCPA certificated Consultant who can start ASAP working remotely from India on a key project.
Key Technical skills and requirements needed:
Mulesoft Technical Architect
Experience Qualification:
- Expert knowledge of API design patterns and development templates in Mulesoft
- Expert knowledge in Anypoint Exchange, Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Service Mesh, Runtime fabric, API Gateway, Cloudhub, Anypoint Studio, Open API Specification standards.
- Certification on Mulesoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA), Mulesoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA), Mulesoft Certified Developer (MCD) is preferred
- Excellent understanding of even driven, API-led architecture, microservices framework and patterns
- Excellent in communication and articulation of subjects with proper reasoning and logical rationale
- Excellent logical reasoning, analytical ability, proactive and result driven attitude
- Other Integration product experience is preferred. For example: Azure API Management, APIGEE, Dell-Boomi, TIBCO, IBM MQ Series etc.
- RAML or OAS experience, strong knowledge on security aspects of API through Oauth, JWT, policy administration
- Broad understanding of CI/CD architecture and Agile/DevOps methodology
Experience in automation tools & technologies like:
- Source Control: Bitbucket/Github
- Continuous Integration and Deployment: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Github Actions
- Infrastructure Automation: Ansible
- Containers: Docker
- Orchestration: Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Cloud: Azure
- Monitoring: Elastic Search and Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana
- Demonstrating expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise grade solutions in a secure way
- Hands-on experience in programming/development skills applied within the enterprise application integration space
- At least 8+ years' experience in designing and developing Integrations components, REST APIs within several organizations
- Experience in integrating SaaS applications is preferred. ie Salesforce, SuccessFactors, RightNow, ServiceNow, Ariba
- Experience with XML, JMS, SOAP and/or Web Services (WS*) and other SOA/Integration technologies
- Understands strategic and tactical vision of organization and aligns self accordingly

Roles and Responsibilities:
Application Skills:
- Responsible for playing senior Integration technical architect ie to drive architecting a requirement, solutioning, designing, developing and supporting in production environment.
- Responsible to align on architectural discussion with customer both from tactical and strategy perspective
- Responsible for defining solution design pertinent to the scope of the change/project and in accordance with enterprise and domain architecture guidelines.
- Understand the use case and identify opportunities to move more towards API fication from ESB based solution
- Define and follow Integration principles, best practices, standards, patterns and governance
- Create solution design, OAS and RAML, System, Process and Enterprise API/ESB solution to satisfy a business requirement
- Responsible for ensuring high level design is interpreted and implemented
- Estimate new piece of work, participate in sprint planning and collaborate with scrum master, product owner and Integration domain owner
- Support integration componenets delivered in production environment as being the part of DevOps team in terms of Incident, problem, change management etc
Platform Skills:
- Good understanding on setting up of Mulesoft platform, VPCs, Load balancing, High Availability, Observability and Service virtualization and discovery
- Operationalize the platform through enablers such as CI/CD, automation, event management, exception handling, monitoring and dashboard
- Implement and extend auto scaling and self-heal feature in containerized platform and work towards Cloudification of the platform
- Platform optimization and visualization through ELK, Grafana with automated capture of key KPIs
- Bring innovative and creative solutions with great sense of analytical ability to strengthen security principles, performance improvement, automate manual tasks, complete elimination of incident for effective operation etc.
