Role: Lead Scala Developer

Description:
Work as part of a client/mixed supplier agile scrum team as a Lead Scala Developer to help the organisation develop, maintain and support good quality digital microservices. Within the team, liaise with Technical Architects as required, employ TDD and pair programming to develop quality code in Scala. Tools and Technologies, in addition to Scala and Play framework, include Git, Jenkins and Javascript, alongside Selenium and Cucumber in the Automated Test space. This role is working from home although there is a requirement to travel to Edinburgh offices on an ad hov basis (circa twice per month).
Required skills:
- 2 years relevant experience with Scala Development Language (Java acceptable) and Play framework.
- Experienced in Agile methodologies and leading the Development members of an Agile Scrum Team.
