Service Desk Engineer - Banking - 1st Line
Excellent opportunity to join a team of 4 in a top Bank for an intelligent and strong communicator. Strong skills in iPhones and apple products as well as commercial experience in a fast paced Service Desk environment.
- Receive and handle requests for service, from internal and external customers, following agreed procedures.
- Prioritise and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures.
- Investigate causes of incidents and seeks resolution.
- Perform security administration tasks, including providing access to IT resources.
- Build new laptop and desktop workstations.
- Carryout IT desktop computer deployments and moves.
- Complete IT daily checks.
- Manage the stock levels and of IT consumable items and order replacement items as required.
- Write and update technical and process documentation.
- Undertaking projects as instructed by management.
Essential Technical Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong skills and demonstrable experience in using and supporting Windows and Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of networking concepts.
- Knowledge of Apple iOS devices.
- CompTIA A+ or MCDST Certifications.
