Service Desk Engineer - Banking - 1st Line

Excellent opportunity to join a team of 4 in a top Bank for an intelligent and strong communicator. Strong skills in iPhones and apple products as well as commercial experience in a fast paced Service Desk environment.

  • Receive and handle requests for service, from internal and external customers, following agreed procedures.
  • Prioritise and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures.
  • Investigate causes of incidents and seeks resolution.
  • Perform security administration tasks, including providing access to IT resources.
  • Build new laptop and desktop workstations.
  • Carryout IT desktop computer deployments and moves.
  • Complete IT daily checks.
  • Manage the stock levels and of IT consumable items and order replacement items as required.
  • Write and update technical and process documentation.
  • Undertaking projects as instructed by management.

Essential Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Strong skills and demonstrable experience in using and supporting Windows and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of Apple iOS devices.
  • CompTIA A+ or MCDST Certifications.
