Description

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Project manager for one of their Public Sector Clients based in Manchester/Remote

  • Initial duration 12 months
  • Inside IR35

Role and Task description

- Experience of UK and Europe PSTN service and number porting
- Extensive knowledge and experience in managing the design and deployment of complex Contact Centre solutions, leveraging traditional and cloud platforms and technologies
- Experience and exposure to industry standard call recording platforms, IVR solutions eg NICE
- Experience of leading requirement collection and approval, solution design and effective deployment in large, complex environments across multiple locations
- Experience of managing complex change including the addition of new features or integration of new products to the voice estate and adhering to standards and transition into service and support
- Experience in upgrade and new implementations of Voice and Contact Centre capability eg Avaya, Unified Communications and SIP
- A proven background in Supplier Management with a range of 3rd parties and Managed Service providers
- Experience in working within a customer and supplier project environment 
- Experience of working through governance frameworks inc the creation of Gate Papers and Business Cases
- Experience of creating Project Management documentation and setting up and managing project governance inc PDD, Status Reporting, Project Boards, RAID, Lessons Learnt, Closure
- Experience of Matrix management of multi- disciplined teams inc Architects, Security and Senior Business SME's
- Experience of working with Change Functions and Change Manager's to successfully deploy and adopt the new technologies
- Experience of Prince2, Agile and Waterfall methodologies and proven ability to adapt approach to suit project and business need
- Ability to identify risks and issues with effective mitigation and resolution approaches
- Experience of Stakeholder Management with Senior Leaders and colleagues at all levels
- Experience of leading and collaborating with 3rd parties for the creation of appropriate collateral for Project and Programme Boards and Stakeholder Briefings
- Strong Communication Skills
- Experience of representing IS whilst ensuring business needs are front and centre of considerations
- A strong Customer/Member of the Public focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that can quickly change direction and priorities and dealing with those changes accordingly
Desirable
- Experience of working in Public Sector and/or Blue Light organisations
