Role and Task description -
Accountable for maintaining Python Simulation model code for critical process. Including error handling/debugging and quality assurance.
Manage requirements for new model features, design new features at pace to enable simulation to reflect the real world operational environment.
Build and maintain and own data dashboards enabling model output visualisation.
Build strong relationships with run and technical support teams to support, sustain and improve the weekly model run.
Be part of creating a high performing and supportive team, mentoring and developing Junior Analysts.
Skills and Behaviours
The post holders will have excellent software developer and analytical skills and be able to work well with others. The post holder will be comfortable with using models, specifically this model is a simulation model run in python. The post holder will have experience in building and maintaining data dashboards to produce clear reports in answer to operational questions.

Significant DevOps experience.
A high level of Python programming expertise, including validation and QA experience.
Experience with Simulation Models and Simulation Modelling Logic (eg System Dynamics, Agent Based)
Experience of developing and maintaining data dashboards (eg Tableau, PowerBI)
Ability to operate Excel to a high level of proficiency (no VBA coding required).
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple data owners and analysis customers to understand requirements and reflect them in a simulated environment.
Desirable
Experience mentoring or managing other analysts
Experience with agile project management
