Description

Our client is a large government organisation and looking for an experienced Procurement Data Analyst to join their team. This is initially a 6 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and support the Strategic C ontract Manager in providing contract intelligence across the Commisioning, Procurement and Contract Management operations throughout the business through the establishment and promotion of best practice commercial and procurement processes, tools and techn iques ensuring compliance with regulations and securing of value for money and soc ial value.

You will Produce and maintenance of a variety of high-quality datasets, reports and presentations to meet regular and ad-hoc requirements for statistical procurement da ta and information, often to meet short deadlines to inform effective procurement decisions across the business and be responsible for t he collation, interpretation, processing and review of procurement related data from a variety of sources, including but not limited to supplier management information, ERP systems, e-tendering and sourcing systems and information from other organisations producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports where you have identified and analysed data with results produced using statistical techniques to inform future procurement activity and be responsible for the statistical analysis of Council and procurement performance data in order to support work of procurement managers to improve contract compliance, monitor key performance indicators in developing the Councils effectiveness and drive improvements.
