Description
We are recruiting for a Data Analyst for an initial 6 month contract with a financial client. This role will be fully remote until restrictions are eased. There could still be degree of remote working once onsite working has resumed.
Responsibilities:
- Producing ad-doc requests for then remediation programme to specification and agreed timelines using Business Intelligence tools.
- Generating outputs for senior stakeholders in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Generating and advising on results, providing analysis, insights and future predictions
- Providing support for key project work
- Ensuring the timely and accurate collection of data and metrics for the remediation team.
- Collaborating with the remediation management team and other relevant stakeholders
Experience required:
- SQL Server experience at a level required to query data independently of the development team
- Knowledge and experience of BI Tools such as SAS, MicroStrategy.
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills - Proficient use of data tables, pivot tables, filters, formulas and macros
- The ability to review, analyse and interpret data to influence data driven decisions
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Strong stakeholder management from entry level up to director level
- Previous experience in Financial Crime/AML and ability to explain various stages of process
- Experience with Python and R is highly beneficial
