IAM Technical Specialist - One Identity Manager
£700-£800 per day inside IR35
6 month contract
London - some remote working
Reporting into the Head of Platform Engineering you will be working within the Identity & Access Engineering (IAM) team, and will be responsible for performing IAM BAU operational processes and governance within Technology, to support their internal customers and satisfy audit requirements. You will support the delivery of architecture, design and delivery of identity and access management solutions, many of which will be integrated with other business or cybersecurity initiatives. You will collaborate with project managers, application owners and support team leaders to ensure IAM policies and processes enable business excellence and support core business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain IAM services based-on One Identity products Active Roles Server and Identity Manager.
- Further develop One Identity Manager's integration with Service Now to provide automated JML processes and application access requests and fulfilment.
- Provide guidance over Role Based Access in terms of Location based Roles, Application Roles and Business Roles and act as SME over any future RBAC project.
- Work closely with other Technology teams on integrating IAM services with Technology and business systems to increase efficiency through automation around areas such as JML processes, application access request fulfilment and attestation.
- Work with the Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) team to provide application access attestations and toxic combination alerting and reporting.
- Develop technical knowledge and share with appropriate teams the operational procedures of Active Roles Server and One Identity Manager.
- Involvement with Identity Management initiatives such as Single Sign On (SSO) and Privileged Access Management (PAM), to ensure security and business processes are in line with industry best practice.
- Assist in ensuring that all IAM capabilities are mapped to internal processes, policies, and standards. Develop metrics to measure and improve the alignment.
Skills and Experience required
- Proven previous experience within a similar IAM Technical Specialist position.
- Strong knowledge of IAM Principles.
- Ability to liaise with diverse teams and manage complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and business impacts.
- Strong background within Identity and Access Management.
- Experience with One Identity Manager and preferably experience of Active Roles Server.
- Experience of managing and integrating with Microsoft systems (on-premise and cloud), such as Active Directory, Exchange, Office, SharePoint, etc.
- Knowledge of various features in IAM deployment and infrastructure components involved therein eg, Provisioning, Workflows, Connectors, Self-Service Features, SSO, Federation, Reverse Proxy, MFA, Adaptive Authentication, Directory Servers, Application Servers, Web Servers.
- Knowledge of programming and querying languages, such as VB.NET, PowerShell, SQL, VBScript.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Information Security procedures and technologies, including experience with key IAM methodologies and technologies SSO, ACL, PAM and RBAC.
