Description

The successful candidate will have security clearance (SC) level clearance.

Role

The SharePoint Developer will initially review our current set up and make recommendations to change. There will be development work to complete, as and when requirements come in from the business. Written documentation will need to both technical and in plain English for sharing with senior stakeholders. The role will be the central point of expertise for SharePoint issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Review all current SharePoint settings. Make recommendations to improve the SharePoint settings/site set ups in accordance with Microsoft best practice.
  • Document settings, describe how the settings work and why any changes are recommended.
  • Check the expected outcome with settings and report any issues where this has not performed as expected/in accordance with Microsoft's operating guidelines and manage the call with Microsoft Premier Support.
  • Deliver SharePoint Sites and Apps, scoping and documenting: requirements, delivery plans, build plans, test plans, delivery and user acceptance.
  • Have the responsibility of developing solutions with the SharePoint framework solely on 0365 SharePoint Online (ie no on-premise solution available).
  • Ensuring the correct access permissions to SharePoint sites are managed and maintained, which will include external partner domain and guest access utilising Identity management in Azure AD.
  • Utilising Power Automate to maintain existing sites and reducing the need for service desk intervention for tasks that can be automated.
  • Manage 2nd Line calls relating to SharePoint issues, ensuring help-desk tool and office staff are kept up to date.
  • Ensure skill set kept up to date and assess new features (including 3rd party apps), that could impact on current and future SharePoint developments, providing summary reports to eJudiciary Technical lead in the first instance.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate

  • Office 0365 SharePoint Online Administration
  • Office 0365 SharePoint Online Development Experience
  • Azure AD Identity management
  • Proficient project management skills
  • Experience in SharePoint Designer
  • Experience in using Visual Studio
  • Experience in writing PowerShell scripts
  • Experience in SharePoint Workflows
  • Experience with Power Automate and Microsoft Flows
  • Experience in CSS/JavaScript/jQuery/HTML
  • Experience of using Bootstrap (or an equivalent framework)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (as described by most external courses);
  • Knowledge of the different operating systems/devices highly desirable, however Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and iOS is essential.
  • Experience of dealing with incident, problem and change management processes.
  • Being able to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders clearly and concisely. For example, explaining a complex (technical) issue in plain English.
  • Production of support documentation and training materials for both internal support teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Being able to deliver training to colleagues and customers;
  • Experience of managing a complex and demanding workload.
