Active Directory Specialist, Fully remote
Active Directory Specialist required for a leading financial services organisation.
As the Active Directory Support Specialist, you will sustain our client's culture of continuous improvement both from a process and technical perspective.
Covering responsibilities such as:-
- Root Cause investigation analysis
- Daily morning health checks to ensure services are running as expected.
- Extracting and analysing data reports on AD objects to ensure full compliance.
- Domain Housekeeping to ensure only "active" AD objects are present.
- Act as the technical support for any DNS support requests.
- Act as the Distribution File Services technical support and maintenance.
- Maintain and manage updates to the Internet Proxy PAC file.
- Liaising and raising requests with Third Party's suppliers
- Act as escalation point for Severity 1 and 2 incidents with MIT.
Skills required:-
- Working knowledge of Active Directory services
- In depth knowledge of AD Group Policy
- Ability to engage with stakeholders in planning, progress, and risk reporting processes.
- Applying your experience and assurance techniques to BAU, projects, and plans.
- Good in-depth working knowledge of MMC, PowerShell, Win10, basic networking topology and concepts.
- Strong understanding of Role-based Access models.
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure would be preferable
