Python Developer - Python, JavaScript, SQL (Freelance)
Maxegan Recruitment are currently seeking a freelance Python Developer for an exciting remote opportunity with our client based in High Wycombe.
The role is NOT a full time position, but looking for someone who can provide a support service for their Python-based application as and when required (within a 24 hour period).
The primary skills, knowledge and experience that may be required for this Python Developer piece of work are:
- Demonstrable professional experience of working as a Software Developer with Python and JavaScript, utilising key libraries/frameworks
- Good knowledge of SQL, specifically PostgreSQL
- Experience of Linux would be an advantage
- Any knowledge of Node.JS would also be beneficial
- Excellent, clear communication skills both written and verbal
- Accountability, Prioritisation and Ownership
- Strong Stakeholder communications
Within this Python Developer freelance position, they will need occasional assistance with:
- Developing new code to enhance the existing functionalities of the app
- Implementing adjustments and changes to the in-house desktop application
- Enhancing the performance and maximising efficiency
- Ensuring the in-house trading software is up and running at all times
