Description

Service & Repair Engineer
The Role Holder provides Operational and Technical support to the AWD Service and Repair organization and deputises for the Global AWD Service & Repair Manager. Contributes to the engineering activities within the Advanced Wound Device Service and Repair business.

Key skills and experiences needed;
1 - Bachelor Degree (or equivalent experience) in one of the following disciplines: Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2 - Minimum of 3 years' experience in a medium/high volume regulated industry, preferably with Project Management experience.
3 - Minimum of 3 years' experience of Medical Device principles/maintenance.
4 - Experienced in MS Office, ideally with high skill in MS Excel and experience in "owning" MS TEAMS"
5 - The ability to work independently and make autonomous problem-solving decisions with minimal guidance and supervision.
6 - Project engineering experience in efficiency and process improvement projects utilizing Lean, six-sigma techniques and statistical analysis tools preferably Green Belt trained
7 - Experience in Reliability Engineering, particularly in reliability tools/techniques.
8 - Experience in roles focused on cost saving, efficiency, quality and process improvement, statistical analysis, ideally with Product Lifecycle experience of electro-mechanical equipment. Previous experience in a Customer facing role would be an advantage.
