Below is the relevant requirements for this position. A non-negotiable for this position is Front Office experience - you will not be selected if you do not have this.
- Cloud infrastructure experience - especially in packaging Java applications for running on cloud environments, ideally in Google Cloud or AWS or in internal cloud platforms.
- Advanced use of tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Jenkins etc. would be a plus
- Experience in FX or Equities low latency/electronic trading systems
- Good experience in support/development for a trading desk ideally in a tier 1 investment bank or hedge fund
- Strong skills in system engineering concepts, UNIX/Linux, networking, query language (KDB/Q/SQL) and at least one programming language (Java/C++/Python)
- Understanding of production management (ITIL) and Google SRE concepts
