One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a POS Consultant (Point of Sale, Cloud, API, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile).
For this role you can initially work remotely but once COVID restrictions have been lifted you will then need to be based onsite in Stockholm, Sweden.

Job description:
Short description of the product area and team
Product mission: Secure a compliant and future proof POS solution (Transaction Engine in Cloud) in time, supporting stakeholders with transparency while ensuring fast time to market
Product top features:
Moving on prem POS to cloud
Verifying Back End functionality of POS is working according to requirements
Setting up and aligning CI/CD principles cross product teams
Work tasks
As a Software Engineer you are responsible for the entire software life cycle - design, development, test, release and maintenance and translates business needs into working software. Regardless of area, tools or languages, a software engineer builds and configures solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation.

Technical Competences
Mandatory requirements, both competence and tools:
Broad knowledge within IT, understanding of technical parts and methods used for software development
Knowledge in testing principals
Knowledge in Cloud - Google Cloud Platform
Understanding on the Architectural landscape
Experience and knowledge of API design
Understanding within containerization (docker/Kubernetes)
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Agile software development practices (Automated testing, CI/CD etc)
Comfortable in discussing product design and improvements
Qualifying requirements:
POS (Point in Sales) competence
Test/QA competence
Understand complexity with test environment/test data
Language skills - Which language is required and meriting
- English, oral and written
- Swedish is an advantage
