Description

The CTR Programme is the heart of NHS SCCL's transformation roadmap. It replaces their ageing Legacy systems, enabling them to become more agile, responsive and resilient when it comes to processing orders, managing warehouses effectively and being more responsive to customer's needs - giving them what they need, when they need it.

Delivery of this new technology underpins and enables the delivery of SCCL's wider Business Transformation workstreams to optimise eCommerce capability, enhanced capacity & operations capability, new ways of working and delivering enhanced technology platforms.

There are two main releases underway: eDirect which introduces the Core Order Management functionality and Bridgwater which focuses on the first warehouse and allows SCCL to use Order Management Technology.

Day To day Responsibilities

  • Meeting with Client Representatives and client 3rd Party Logistics partner to clarify requirements and document statements
  • Liaising with development and test teams to ensure requirements are understood
  • Liaising with Release Manager to provide status of tasks
  • Reviewing and supporting impact assessments for enhancement requests

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide a single point of support for the programme for Bridgwater release requirements and processes. They will need to partner closely and liaise with various impacted business units to elicit their requirements and processes as well as any issues or concerns.

A good understanding of Warehouse Management and Order Management will be required to get up to speed quickly on existing requirements and processes. Immediate activity will involve responding to test and development team queries on existing requirements, validating reporting requirements and running walkthroughs with the business to enhance their understanding of the solution, elicit any concerns and aid in assessing training needs.

For future releases if extended, the candidate will need to work independently, supported by a junior Business Analyst, to set out and capture all processes and requirements and ensure these are documented with clear evidence and traceability of approvals and changes.
