Project Management Officer/PMO Financial Services EXP - London, initially remote working

6 to 12 months rolling/£400 - £450 per day (Inside IR35)/London (Initially Remote)

Person requirements - Any UK Nationality or Right to Work in the UK experienced Project Management Officer/PMO Financial Services required, with experience of working within the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) domain, ideally with payment and/or credit card industry experience

My client a well-known global IT Consultancy (End Client Global Credit Card Company), seek an experienced Project Management Officer/PMO Financial Services EXP with 10+ Years of experience as Project Management Officer in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) domain, ideally from the payment and/or credit card sector.

Responsibilities for the Project Management Officer/PMO Financial Services EXP position:

  • Create time sheet reports from Plan View tool for Customer Initiatives, outlining issues with the weekly submission.
  • Raise exceptions on timesheets that do not conform to the agreed timesheet model.
  • Add new Customer Initiatives in the timesheet system where requested by the VP or Team leads and ensure the correct people are assigned.
  • Track team progress on newly raised Initiatives not yet planned in the Programme Increment (pre-triage items) and manage a Confluence page outlining progress.
  • Management of capacity forecasting in the timesheet system by working with the team, ensuring we can meet Customer commitments.
  • Run the Initiative evaluation sessions, ensuring the team have populated the reports as needed.

As the Project Management Officer/PMO, you will also be expected to:

  • Track Platform level actions, dependencies and chase the owners to ensure a timely Customer delivery.
  • Run the monthly capacity review the VP and Team leads and highlight improvements.
  • Act as Proxy for supplier admin within the team, including generating PO requests on behalf of the VP and team leads, when needed (expected max of 2 per month).
  • Work with the Team Leads to produce a report following the PI event, that outlines what is included, the risks and dependencies.
  • Maintain the new starter documentation set.
