Lead Technical Writer /Technical Author Financial Services EXP - London, initially remote working
6 to 12 months rolling/£400 - £450 per day (Inside IR35)/London (Initially Remote)
Person requirements - Any UK Nationality or Right to Work in the UK experienced Lead Technical Writer/Technical Author, with experience of working within the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) domain, ideally with payment and/or credit card industry experience
My client a well-known global IT Consultancy (End Client Global Credit Card Company), seek an experienced Lead Technical Writer/Technical Author with 12+ Years of experience as Lead Technical Writer/Technical Author from within BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) domain, ideally from the payment and/or credit card sector.
Responsibilities for the Lead Technical Writer/Technical Author Financial Services EXP position:
- Be the single point of contact for documentation for all Platform Products.
- Manage the technical writing team in the documentation of all release documentation, including Implementation Guides, Migration Guides, submissions to document repositories.
- Join the team meetings to provide updates on progress and understand any changes that will impact the delivery of the writing or timeframes.
- Join Zapp leadership team meeting.
- Join the P2MA meeting to stay abreast of release timing changes.
- Provide updates on progress, ideally in the form of a managed wiki report (Confluence).
Additional responsibilities for the Lead Technical Writer/Technical Author Financial Services EXP position:
- Manage challenges with submission conflicts.
- Ensure Confluence space is managed, clear, links are working as expected, updated as necessary.
- Ensure the existing document process is governed, planned and reported on monthly.
- Act as lead liaison with outside teams to ensure the successful delivery of the Programme Increment documentation into the new repositories.
- Identify quarterly improvements, discuss with the team and implement if agreed.
