Integration Architects,Trying to simplify how people interface with systems, Design adapt API's, Strategy role in tech space trying to produce target architecture, Fire HIR experience, Building API's
provide safe and useful digital services and data services for users, ensuring minimal disruption as new tech standards or suppliers are introduced
move to open, modern, cloud native architectures, with consistent technical and data standards
put users at the centre of the design, underpinned by user research and with regular iterations
Responsibilities:
Ownership: Technical Architecture design for capabilities and solutions that support the operation of the Framework
Ownership: Technical Architecture design for interoperability between systems and solutions on the Framework as well dependent systems, identifying opportunities for system improvement as well as resolving technical and architectural debt
Ownership: Providing architecture oversight & direction to a number of delivery & product teams, ensuring alignment with principles and the Technical Vision and roadmap
Contributing to: the ongoing maintenance and uplift of standards that form the basis of the Framework capabilities
Contributing to: the technical and data strategies that will identify key technical enablers on the future roadmap
Contributing to: support with the development of end user and supporting technical guidance
The role requires significant engagement with multiple stakeholder groups such as the executive team, the business team, the development partners, external suppliers, as well as a multitude of internal Digital teams such as Technical Architecture, Solution Assurance, Service Management, and Platforms & Infrastructure.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential
Applications technical architect with demonstrable experience of working successfully with varied development teams in a fast-paced cloud-based environment.
Experience of delivering high volume solutions
Experience of interoperability between systems
Experience of architecting large-scale solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platforms
Excellent written and communication skills
Evidence of identifying and documenting functional and non-functional requirements for a project Advantageous
Experience of interoperability within Healthcare systems and associated standards (eg FHIR or HL7v3)
Knowledge and experience of creating API specifications
Knowledge of authentication standards (eg OIDC, Oauth2, FIDO)
Knowledge of Event Based Architectures
Knowledge of DevOps
Experience of working as an architect in an agile environment
Knowledge of and experience of using architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
