Systems Manager - Remote - 6 months
An experienced Systems Manager/Technical Consultant is sought for a client for an initial 6-month contract focussed on designing and migrating from an on-prem to AWS solution. The client is based in the Dundee area with the role being predominantly remote based apart from ad-hoc meetings.
As the Systems Manager/Azure Consultant your role will focus on establishing a new cloud infrastructure (AWS/Amazon Web Services) moving from an on-prem solution. You will work closely with the DevOps Team to ensure design and build is fit for purpose. Then full document and hand across to the Support Team.
To be considered for the role you must have experience of:
- AWS - Design and build of new environment
- Migration of on-prem solution to AWS
- Administration experience - Windows/Linux/macOS Systems
- Administration of Source Control - SVN/GitLab/BitBucket
- Build of automation systems - Jenkins
- Disaster Recovery concepts and implementation
- VPN/VPC's and basic network connectivity
