PMO Lead 6mth contract Inside IR35 Home based
As the PMO Lead you will be supporting the Programme Director and Project team to deliver a large programme of work.
Duties
Leading on the PMO tasks and functions for the programme
Managing the Programme Plan (Microsoft Project) and critical path for contractual milestones, working with the Programme Director
RAID log management - maintaining project issues and risk logs and following up with business owners/leads as required
Arrange workstream reviews including preparation of supporting reports ie highlight reports, project plan review/assurance, workstream RAID reviews
Coordinate cross functional work and distribute materials across those functions.
Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to meet the needs of the PMO Manager and Programme Director.
Provide line management to a small PMO Team which consists of PMO Coordinators and a Programme Support Officer.
Skills and Knowledge
Project Management/PMO Qualification
Experience working on large programmes with multiple stakeholders
Experience of managing large plans (Microsoft Project) for programmes and ensuring you have the correct input from stakeholders
Line management experience
Experience in producing and maintaining project documentation
A confident and clear communicator that is experienced in engaging with customers and senior management
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of Office 365 including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams
