DevOps Engineer - INSIDE IR35
We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join one of our Tier 1 clients. The opportunity will only be office based once or twice a week once the client returns to the office later this year.
Technical Skills
- Operational: Demonstrable experience in managing multiple environments, whether onsite, remote or cloud-based, including upgrades, patches and providing support for issues and the promotion of software between environments
- Experience of designing, implementing and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and using them to deliver application and infrastructure changes
- Proficiency in monitoring and adjusting scalable applications to ensure they continue to perform well under increasing load and scope
- Experience of a wide variety of technologies and languages including:
- Webservices, RESTful/SOAP
- Cloud platform: Azure, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps
- Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeless, HELM, Elastic Search
- Continuous Integration: Azure Pipelines, Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus
- Networking and Security best practices for cloud software
- Experience of configuring Apache Tomcat webservers
- Monitoring and analytics tools: Nagios, Solarwinds, Kafka, Graylog, Grafana
- Testing tools: Selenium (automation), JEST, Junit, Mockito, Browserstack
- Coding & Shell Scripts: SQL, Javascript ES6, NodeJS, Java, Python, Bash, YAML
- Source code management tool: Git
- Other programming and automation languages
