We have an exciting opportunity for a SC Cleared Network Engineer to join a blue chip organisation in Blackburn on a 6-12 month contract.

*General Network Engineering skills Aruba/Cisco (ACSP/CCNP level)
*PaloAlto Firewall and management tools
*Complex Campus structured cabling solutions
*Aruba Airwave/ClearPass
*Complex Network Device configuration and implementation
*Contribution to Network Design documentation
*Production of complex Network diagrams
*Aruba Firmware upgrades
*PaloAlto Firewall Implementation and configuration
*Support for structure cabling implementations

Active SC Clearance required for this role

Summary of Tasks
*Large scale Enterprise network across 50+ sites in the UK (Work to be focused on 2 key strategic sites)
*Approx 1000 Switches across 2 key locations
*Approx 10 Firewalls across 2 locations
*8 firewalls Juniper/Fortinet
*Use of Airwave, ClearPass, Panorama
*Production of Complex Aruba Network configuration scripts
*Aruba switching firmware upgrades
*Implementation of Aruba switching hardware
*Production of detailed implementation plans/Change Control documentation associated with Enterprise LAN refresh
*Hardware onboarding to Airwave
*Production of handover documentation into BAE support
