IT Project Manager - NHS
Our client, a large and reputable organisation, is now looking for a Project manager with e xperience of delivering large scale regional IT schemes within a healthcare environment. This client is embarking on a multi million pound programme and therefore the post holder will be r esponsible for the development and delivery of the first phase of the programme, which is the new information management system.
What the role entails:

Deputise for the Pathology Digital Programme Manager as required.

Establish and maintain the project governance framework for the information management system Project.

Document Project structure and organisation, project governance, Terms of Reference, programme plans, risks/issues/dependencies log, progress reporting.

Develop a stakeholder map and plan for the above.
-
Stakeholder engagement establishment of clear roles and responsibilities.
-
Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders.
-
Identify and exploit opportunities for improvement to existing workflow enabled by new technology platforms.

Identify potential cost benefits that will offset deployment costs.
To be considered for the role, you will require the following:
-
Educated to Master's level with appropriate qualification or have substantial relevant experience in a senior IT manager or project or programme management role.

NHS/Clincial Background.

Knowledge of national HSCIC policy and latest thinking on the strategic direction of Healthcare Informatics.

Analytical person with ability to make considered recommendations on complex IT and project budgetary issues.

Excellent presentation and oral communication skills.
-
Proven experience of technical projects delivery.

Programme Management experience gained in an healthcare environment.
-
Project Management qualification or equivalent.
