Location: Remote (w/occasional trips to customer HQ)
Type: Contract
Duration: 12months +
Day Rate: £450 - £550 per day
Start: < 2 weeks

CPS Group UK are delighted to be seeking a Senior User Researcher (SC Cleared), with a track record in Government Digital Service (GDS) and an excellent working knowledge of research and business analysis techniques in the Central Government domain.

The Senior User Researcher will plan, design, and carry out research activities with users that help teams get a deep understanding of the people that use government services. This will inform policy, proposition, service, content, and interaction design so that services work well for users and achieves policy intent.

The Senior User Researcher will ideally hold active UK Security Clearance and be available to start immediately, or within two weeks.

Required Skills & Experience

*Ability to plan (and lead) user research activities in larger teams and on complex service
*Build user-centred practices in new teams
*Align user research activities with wider plans to inform a service proposition
*Supervise and develop other user researchers to assure and improve research practice
*Applying techniques for the analysis of research data and synthesis
*Understanding of the diversity of users of government services and the need to make services usable and accessible
*Bachelors' degree in Engineering/Software Engineering or similar
*Qualification(s) in Business Analysis or User Research
