Harvey Nash's leading technology client are currently looking for a Head of Data to join their Edinburgh based team, albeit from your own home for now during lockdown restrictions. This Senior Leadership position is within a high-profile and fast-paced programme of work and requires an individual with significant data practitioner experience, to help shape the new arrangements of Design Standards and Information Services. Leading a team of Data Specialists who are responsible for the end-to-end design and development of their individual product areas you will have extensive experience working with complex data projects. This role requires an induvial to have outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with an ability to navigate through policy, and politics within a complex organisation. This role has been deemed inside IR35 regulations, therefore, the use of an Umbrella company is required. The rate on offer is circa £600-£650/day.
Essential Skills.
- Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams in a demanding environment in a data-related field whilst promoting development and well-being;
- The ability to build effective relationships is key to this role. You will have a successful track record of building strong and effective networks and partnerships across organisational boundaries, facilitating negotiation and brokering agreements to deliver results;
- Experience of working in a data-related digital environment to deliver projects and products with decisions on solutions evidenced by data-driven options analysis;
- Experience of setting and managing business priorities, roles and responsibilities with individual and team ownership of objectives in a change management environment.
