Solutions Architect - MS Dynamics - required until Dec 2021 (likely to be extended) based in Farnborough
This role is inside IR35 paying up to £500 per day (Umbrella)
Working in a Scrum Agile delivery, we require a Solutions Architect who will lead the design and technical implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution for Corporate Sales. The solution/Product covers end to end Corporate Sales business practices from prospecting, through to contract, sales, ordering and invoicing.
This role in the Solution Management Group, will support the development of core functionality and enhancements to the Product as well as market rollout activities, guiding the delivery of multiple feature teams in a large scale scrum environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Clarification of business requirements. Challenge, test and validate and solution assumptions within the stated business requirements.
- Identification of acceptance criteria and consideration of use cases and edge cases to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business need
- Undertaking Gap analysis of requirements against the existing product functionality
- Identifying the system impacts of the stated business needs and user stories
- Leading the design of new or amended features, interfaces and underlying platform changes for the Product
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities for improving the Product design/features in support of the Product Vision and in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Supporting technical implementation of changes by disseminating knowledge and skills to the feature teams, guiding developers and QA resources with knowledge of the solution and business value
- Championing automation, security by design and reducing total cost of ownership and support overheads where possible
- Supporting supplier selection and management of service providers and vendors with regards to DevOps deliver
- Working within the scrum team to develop the framework for DevOps delivery and coaching other team members to self-organize, collaborate and take initiative to successfully deliver business outcomes and reduce technical debt.
- Design solutions for business requirements/user stories based on the existing product coding practices and Product structure
- Provide supporting process diagrams, data flows, data dictionary and other defining artefacts to ensure clarity for the development feature teams
- Ensure creation and updating of design documents, interface contracts and Product knowledge base within JIRA and Confluence in line with team practices
Experience required:
- Customer Relationship Management
- Experience working with MS Dynamics CRM (MS Dynamics 2016 On Premise/365 Online/MS Dynamics CRM customisation, plugins & workflows)
- Demonstrable experience in Solution Architecture across application and infrastructure
The rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (ie the rate we pay to the Umbrella company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.
