Description
Experienced Cisco Solution Architect (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent) with current SC Clearance required for large International Organisation. You will be involved in the high-level design to define architectural strategies for an upgrade to IT Network Infrastructure and data centre facilities.
Essential Skills: You will have excellent skills in designing Cisco based solutions and building resilient TCP/IP Networks. It is imperative that you have strong Firewall knowledge (ASA, Checkpoint, Juniper Netscreen) and awareness of VPN technologies. The technical environment will also encompass Linux operating systems, VMware, containerization, Juniper SSL, Security appliance terminology, Infoblox DNS/DHCP Management, System log management and network/server monitoring. Ideally you will have a dedicated track record of solution architecture & network design within high security environments.
Immediate interviews, start ASAP. Initially for 6 months, may extend. Current SC clearance is essential. This role will be based in Bristol, with occasional travel to Newport, but at present will be working remotely due to the current Covid-19 situation.
NB: This role has been deemed 'inside' of IR35. The rate quoted is the Umbrella rate.
