Monitoring Engineer
My client a leading insurance firm are looking for a Monitoring Engineer
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Initiation and monitoring of IT Performance alerting at my client and via IT Partner monitoring tools/reports.
- Collation, analysis and interpretation of performance monitoring data internally and across IT Partners.
- Participation in Incident, Major Incident, and Problem management across 3rd party vendors, IT Partners and internal Support Teams based on ITIL framework.
- Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions for capacity and scalability.
- Assist with production and distribution of my client performance dashboards.
- Participation in Capacity Management meetings.
- Collaboration with internal Teams to assist with testing and delivery of measured and performant IT Services.
- Adhere to company and regulatory policies, procedures together with mandatory training requirements
Functional & Behavioural Competencies required:
- Experience with interpreting monitoring tool events/results into service impacting and improvement discussions across internal teams and IT Partners
- Agile software delivery life cycle within Azure
- Application and infrastructure performance engineering tool knowledge within Azure
- DevOps (Not essential but desirable if the candidate has knowledge)
