i am currently recruiting for a fully remote Cloud infrastructure Architecture role.
Experience
- Azure hosting focused not AWS or Google so much, but awareness of them is good.
- Understanding of pillars of "as a Service"
- CaaS - Containers as a Service
- IaaS - Infrastructure as a Service
- PaaS - Platform as a Service
- SaaS - Software as a Service
- iPaaS - Integration as a Service
- Identity and Data integrations (API/Batch & Streaming) across cloud
- Legacy & tech debt transformation experience
- Knowledge of Gartner - helps identify Enterprise Class type candidates
- Wide variety of products knowledge across Azure but not a specialist in one area like Data products. We wont always use Microsoft Azure for all hosting.
- Knowledge and experience of using architecture documentation tools like Sparx EA, Mega, iServer [we use iServer, so its preferred but not always possible to get]
- Good documentation skills, willing to document as they go and present to senior executives, Powerpoint, Miro
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps and Waterfall methodology
- Production of product standards for implementation within projects
- Use of Teams, JIRA & Confluence desirable but can be learned
