Description
Solution Architect (Outside IR35) required to provide technical guidance and oversight as part of the redevelopment of a major business and workflow process platform which plays a business critical role at several large sites around the UK. With early stage analysis and requirements definition already complete, your role will be to translate the business needs and requirements into a logical and deliverable solution and take the lead in the design and delivery of a consistent and coherent technical architecture that will win the backing and support of stakeholders. As Solution Architect you will take ownership of all aspects of the roadmap including infrastructure, data, systems, security, in-house built software solutions, integrations and security and have an excellent overall systems and infrastructure knowledge along with understanding of core solutions concepts and modern technology standards.
Your will be able to demonstrate clear experience of operating in a similar solution design/architect role with an advanced understanding of:
Software Development, Web Servers and Web Applications
Application Servers
Database Servers
Virtual Server Architecture and Operating Systems
Storage Architecture
Application Distribution Control Networking fundamentals
The contract is required to be delivered as a hybrid of office and home based work, expect a minimum of 3 days on site in the early stages of the project. We expect the whole project to run for 18 months with renewals issued depending on the needs and direction of the project.
