Oracle EBS Consultant (Contract role)
My client based in Amsterdam is looking to secure the services of an experienced Oracle EBs consultant on a contract basis.
Location: Amsterdam
Rate: €100 an hour
A requirement for a software/application architect with good knowledge and experience in integration of E-business Suite in the application domain.
Skills
Good expertise of API-frameworks in an enterprise architecture
In-depth knowledge (specialist) on the Tools/Applications/Languages we use (list to be asked from architect team)
Knowledge of E-business Suite's interface concepts, on premise and in cloud
Experience with integration with eBS in Finance domain (payables/receivables) and knowledge on eBS TCA architecture (added by MV)
Hands-on and proactive attitude
Good communication with the team (must be able to guide the team in this development)
Activities
Translate the Enterprise Architecture into software for the connections to and from Oracle E-business Suite:
- What is the path for the Finance domain to connect with the API-framework?
- What is the impact on existing interfaces?
- Future(cloud)-proof
Identify Quick Wins
Clearly explain the solutions to the finance team
The concrete ask is to work out options for: connect to Transaction Engine? Consume their API? then feed into open interface? Or call Oracle's public API's? What is the development effort here?
