Data Engineer
Up to £600 per day inside IR35/umbrella
London/Remote
Initially for 6 months with long term potential
My client is a market leading Financial Services company who are looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to join their Customer Data Science team.
The Data Engineer will focus on developing and productionising data products that drive personalised customer experience at scale.
You will identify and drive opportunities with new data, new technology and new processes.
The Data Engineer will have the following skills/experience:
- Proven experience in a Data Engineer role
- Strong programming expertise in SQL and Python
- Experience of working with big datasets and building data pipelines using Spark.
- Strong working knowledge of Git-based code version control and CI/CD principles (Jenkins experience a plus).
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong numerical skills with good working knowledge in statistics, machine learning, analytics or similar.
Any PySpark or Scala experience is highly desirable
