Description
Seeking talented Automation/DevOps Engineers to assist our client with building and deploying a new platform. This a 6 month + project and you will be working with our client a fast -growing altnet in the UK.
Responsible:
- Interpreting the designs and then building deploying & troubleshooting the environment.
- Use and develop Scripting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins and Python to provision and configure Servers, services and applications.
- Follow best practice for disaster recovery/business continuity in server and network design.
- Provide expertise for IT Operational management of monitoring, disaster recovery, compliance/auditing and networking.
- Troubleshoot resolve SSL, Firewall and other network issues
Skills:
- Have a proven background in working in an automation/Devops engineering role building and deploying an enterprise network.
- Experience in working in a fast paced environment.
- Good Knowledge of Linux & Windows Systems Administration and/or AWS
- Experience developing automation solutions utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Gitlab Cl, Github, Jenkins, and Python.
- Experience building CI/CD pipeline
- Cloud Experience: Openstack, AWS.
- Knowledge of Opensource Automation tools eg Cucumber, Selenium, Appium.
- Experience of writing advanced scripts and batch files using python or bash.
- Strong Networking skills in TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DHCP
- Working knowledge of virtual technologies is advantageous.
- Worked in an Agile/DevOps environment.
- You don't get lost in the detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Professional Certifications such as: AWS, Linux, CCNA would be advantageous.
This role is based remotely and then in London once Covid Restrictions are removed.
