Description

Seeking talented Automation/DevOps Engineers to assist our client with building and deploying a new platform. This a 6 month + project and you will be working with our client a fast -growing altnet in the UK.

Responsible:

  • Interpreting the designs and then building deploying & troubleshooting the environment.
  • Use and develop Scripting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins and Python to provision and configure Servers, services and applications.
  • Follow best practice for disaster recovery/business continuity in server and network design.
  • Provide expertise for IT Operational management of monitoring, disaster recovery, compliance/auditing and networking.
  • Troubleshoot resolve SSL, Firewall and other network issues

Skills:

  • Have a proven background in working in an automation/Devops engineering role building and deploying an enterprise network.
  • Experience in working in a fast paced environment.
  • Good Knowledge of Linux & Windows Systems Administration and/or AWS
  • Experience developing automation solutions utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Gitlab Cl, Github, Jenkins, and Python.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipeline
  • Cloud Experience: Openstack, AWS.
  • Knowledge of Opensource Automation tools eg Cucumber, Selenium, Appium.
  • Experience of writing advanced scripts and batch files using python or bash.
  • Strong Networking skills in TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DHCP
  • Working knowledge of virtual technologies is advantageous.
  • Worked in an Agile/DevOps environment.
  • You don't get lost in the detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Professional Certifications such as: AWS, Linux, CCNA would be advantageous.

This role is based remotely and then in London once Covid Restrictions are removed.
