Job Description
Excellent understanding of SDLC, patching, releases and software development at scale. Should be expertise in integration of SCM, Build tool, Source code analysis, Artifactory, Automation testing and other similar tools with CI/CD
Should have experience in leading DevOps Engineers, analysing and defining DevOps Transformation Roadmap & expertise in Tools Evaluation
Expertise in writing jenkins pipeline scripts
Hands on experience in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher
Hands on experience in any configuration management tools like ansible, chef, puppet and handled autoamted environment provisioning
Hands on experience in monitoring tools like nagios, new relic, zabbix
Strong scripting skills in any one of the scripting technologies - shell, python, perl, ruby, Groovy
Excellent understanding of on-prem, cloud, hybrid devops deployments. Good to have both linux and windows knowledge.
Good experience with Linux/Unix/Windows administration
Quick learner to work on multiple devops tools
Should have a good communication skill
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in services and software systems design
Lead DevOps Technical team and solve technical problem statements
Software delivery automation (CI, CD) in Servers or Containers
Promotion and Implementation of DevOps best practices (CI, CD, automated testing, branching strategy, decoupling, etc.)
Simplification and improvement of software delivery/release processes
Participation in deployment processes (development/testing/production)
Implementing on-prem, cloud, hybrid based deployment solutions and Proof Concepts
Propose and Implement monitoring solution for servers or containers and applications
Tooling support for shorter release cycles, improving supportability, performance & scalability of the various platform
Assist in provisioning of environments and software needed for the various programming language’s CI/CD
Work and communicate with a team of highly technical software/systems engineering
Work independently with minimal direction Attention to detail and problem-solving skills in various domain and platform
Editing and maintenance of documentation for software architectures and automation processes
