Azure Delivery Lead/Scrum Master - Reading, initially remote working
3 to 6 months rolling/£450 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)/Reading (Initially Remote)
Person requirements - Any UK Nationality or Right to Work in the UK experienced Azure Delivery Lead/Scrum Master required.
My client a well-known global IT Consultancy, seek an experienced Azure Delivery Lead/Scrum Master to oversee the delivery and support of key technological platforms in customer's data factory landscape.
Responsibilities for the Azure Delivery Lead/Scrum Master position:
- Oversee the delivery and support of key technological platforms in customer's data factory landscape.
- Platforms deliver data science capability.
- Platform team works in a Devops mode and platforms use agile delivery - Kanban for building products.
- The delivery lead would be responsible for working closely with Product Owners, Platform Owners, Data Factory stakeholders, Platform Architects, and development teams.
Other responsibilities for the Azure Delivery Lead/Scrum Master position:
- The delivery lead would be responsible for developing, reviewing, and finalising product development plans with the identified stakeholders.
- Delivery lead would facilitate the ceremonies prescribed in the chosen methodology ie Scrum and Kanban.
- Delivery lead will work closely with other delivery leads for product/platform team to contribute towards the portfolio level planning and management.
- Delivery lead will do the required reporting into Data factory lead and respective platform owners.
- Delivery lead will work closely with the development teams to resolve any blockers, issues or impediments that hinder the delivery.
- Delivery lead will be using Azure Devops for managing and tracking the works across the platform.
- Delivery lead will work closely with the POs and platform owners on onboarding them in ways of working of the platform and living agile values.
The Azure Delivery Lead/Scrum Master position:
- Should be able to contribute towards discussions related to scaling of agile and best practices in scaled agile environment.
- Experienced Agile/Scrum/Kanban practitioner.
- Extensive experience with agile methodology and implementations using agile.
- Experience as a Scrum Master with relevant industry certifications.
- Experience of leading platform teams, developing products would be useful.
- Experience in Geospatial technology/Data Science/Water Utility preferable.
- Scaled agile experience and industry certification would be handy.
