Job title: Network Operations Engineer
Job Type: Contract - 7 days a week coverage 6am - 2.30pm
Location: On customer Site - Dublin - Amazing modern office
Pay rate: €350 - €400 per day
Contract Length: 1 year minimum
Network Operations Engineer required to Document, monitor, investigate, triage, troubleshoot, remediate, and maintain network systems for performance, efficiency, stability, and availability on private DWDM network.
Process RMA and hardware replacements and upgrades per best practices.
Ensure day-to-day operations of technology infrastructure.
Design and develop automation/scripting solutions to assist position and team performance.
Understanding DWDM, Layer 1 transport is absolutely vital to this position.
This is not a routing position, this job does not require Cisco, or Juniper certifications
Network, Fibre and DWDM is essential.
An Extensive installation and commissioning background in telecommunications industry. Thorough knowledge of both fixed, wireless, transmission and OpticalDWDM networks.
