Solution Architect (Application Architecture, REST, SOAP etc)
Inside IR35, remote (UK) based.
Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious world renowned client for a Solution Architect with strong Application Architecture experience.
The role is required to proactively and holistically lead or support design activities, providing the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of a solutions architecture.
As a Solution Architect you will create deliverables that help develop a direction for managing the organization's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions - including systems (meaning not just applications, but also processes and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services to better match targeted business outcome objectives.
Leveraging and using technology solutions to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities that, in turn, drive the organizations targeted outcomes. They facilitate and orchestrate the delivery of targeted business outcomes.
To work across a number of business focussed areas, but may be expected to specialise on a single product or programme, at enterprise scale and of critical importance to functioning of the organisation.
Your experience should include:
. Experience of delivering enterprise solutions for large organisations, with a solid background in Application Architecture with experience of integrations using a variety of protocols including REST and SOAP
. A good understanding of information management practices including information life cycle management, Datamodelling and master data management
. Experience of working within the Higher Education sector, with an awareness of its objectives and functions
. Leading design activities across complex business functions with multiple stakeholders by discovering and analysing requirements, understanding the context, identifying and assessing alternative solutions and advising on configuration
. Experience or qualifications within TOGAF or equivalent framework is advantageous.
. It is important you can offer experience of directing governance activities associated with ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance by defining the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
. Self-motivated and dynamic, and able to engage, challenge and influence others with a track record of developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships across IT and the wider institution
