Description

Harvey Nash's newly formed Public Sector client has an urgent requirement for an Interim CIO (Chief Information Officer) to join them initially on a 3 month contract.

The post-holder will provide assurance on the security of processes and systems for meeting its goals by building new approaches to data ethics and information governance into the standard operations of the organisation. And they will be passionate about how data driven innovation can transform services and improve wellbeing.

You must have -

  • Experience in delivering programmes of digital, data or operational transformation or experience of product and innovation management in a digital, data or operational transformation context.
  • Degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field or equivalent experience in the field of IT management.
  • In-depth knowledge of data administration and management processes.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in information technology and data management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build a multi-disciplinary team and coach individuals.
  • A track record in building strong working relationships with stakeholders, achieving consensus across differing perspectives.
  • Displays the ability to communicate in writing and face to face with a range of colleagues and wider stakeholders.

Experience of working in Scottish Public Sector would be HIGHLY desirable.

This role falls INSIDE IR35.
