Contract Assignment - Security Project Manager (Process Documentation/Tech standards)

Day Rate - £450 - £500 per day Outside of IR35
Duration - 3 months initial contract

POSITION
- The role is for a Project Manager who will be working on a client engagement delivering Security improvements to the enterprise.
- Responsible for the coordinated creation, review, and approval of Security Process documentation/Security Technical Standards documentation.
- Will be working with Security Consultants and Programme Management personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent understanding of program/project financial management and cost control practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement change
- Able to comprehend, analyze and adhere to SOWs
- Review of project deliverables, alignment of project team to deliver to a high standard and on schedule
- Ongoing service improvement of internal and external processes to enhance program value
- Maintain communication with internal and external executive sponsors and programme stakeholders
- Maintain communication with suppliers as appropriate in support of the programme
- Manage major issue resolution, risk mitigation and dependency completion
- Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ensure projects are planned and executed in line with the WWT PMO methodology
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, as well as project subcontractors.
- Participate and contribute to Client Programme Governance meetings including completion of reporting requirements.
- Management of remote subject matter experts located in multiple geographies
- Creation and maintenance of detailed project plans to ensure large number of deliverables are achieved within a short space of time
- Identification and communication with customer stakeholders to ascertain critical project information and access
- Organisation of project workshops and stakeholder interviews across multiple client functions including communication of the importance of the sessions
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum seven years of Project Management experience
- Proven experience working with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Experience in a Professional Services environment, leading complex Information Technology projects in large enterprises is essential
- Experience working in major Financial Services institutions desirable
- Working knowledge of Security technologies and management process and practices desirable.
- Excellent understanding of the contract (SOW) process. Able to manage contract modifications, change orders, control the impact to a program, and take a lead position for negotiations on contract scope, cost and schedule
- Demonstratable experience in successfully delivering projects on time (including deliverables, milestones, etc.)
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively across internal, external and hybrid global teams
- Ability to lead a team of technical resources including remote and across multiple geographies
- Excellent client-facing communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) are a must
- Rigorous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines
- Proactive and passionate mindset with an inquisitive nature to understand the customer's environment in an approachable manner
- Have the ability to propose alternative solutions to a problem whilst working collaboratively with other team members
- Flexible approach to working hours - after hours support during delivery
- Strong stakeholder management (internal and external) skills
