AEM Developer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires AEM Developers to be based in their client's office in London. You can work remotely until covid abates.
This is a 6-12-month temporary contract, to start on 10th May 2021.
The right candidate must have hands-on experience in AEM Development.
Job Purpose
- Develop custom AEM components on top of JCR and Apache Sling (A REST based web development framework on top of JCR), CRX (Days commercial JCR Implementation)
- Defining template structures and overall site design
- Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex web application using Adobe AEM
- Create and integrate content-driven applications on Adobe AEM core platform and integrate with E-commerce solutions and search engines.
- Asset Management (DAM) implementation, object model design (Java APIs), implementation, and unit testing.
- Experience with migrating large content from a CMS into Adobe AEM Translates business requirements into technical details relevant to Adobe AEM.
- Resolve user-identified functional and technical issues relating to Adobe AEM
Key Responsibilities/Requirements
- Can be independently handling or could be part of team
- Good knowledge in Adobe experience Manager/CQ application with Hands on development experience on: Maintaining Components, Templates, Dialogues and Workflows
- Prior experience as a senior developer or lead developer
- Excellent knowledge of automating deployment and management of AEM services
- Experience in the troubleshooting AEM related issues
- Design and development experience in Adobe AEM and above experience with Adobe AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets and AEM development and deployment process using Maven
- Experience with Angular JS, HTML5, JQuery, JSTL, JavaScript, AJAX and Front End frameworks.
- Maintains/updates components, templates, dialogs and workflows.
- Excellent knowledge of automating deployment and management of AEM services.
- Client facing, team member skills with assertive communication skills.
