For one of our largest financial clients, I am hiring for a "Product Manager". It's for a 12 month project in Groningen, Netherlands with remote option included.

What we are looking for?

  • You have a vision of pension administration for multiple customers with different wishes.
  • You can demonstrably convert needs and ideas into new services and applications.
  • As a person, you are a bridge builder without losing sight of the result.
  • Even if it gets hectic, you remain sympathetic and decisive.
  • You ensure that customer needs, ideas, legislative changes and plans are translated into actual services and products.
  • For this you work together with your product owners. And is the product live? Then you are responsible for the support and improvement of the product together with the product owners.
  • In addition, you are responsible for the product vision and the (further) development of the product roadmap.
  • With your broad view, you keep an eye on all interests: the customer wishes, the reliability of the systems, the requirements of supervisors, ease of use for employees and the cost side.
  • You also ensure that everyone involved knows what innovations or optimizations are coming, how they work and what their value is for customers.
  • You fall under the newly established Product Management department, which gives you the opportunity to further develop your role yourself.
  • The client is in the midst of a transformation: in a large-scale change process, developing a new digital pension platform.

In this position, we expect you to:

  • Lead your team of product owners;
  • Ensure that the products and solutions contribute to business goals;
  • Collaborate with the product owners to have the functionalities bui
  • Involve stakeholders to put the products into use;
  • Continue to support and improve the products to create a continuous flow of value;
  • Fulfils the quality, requirements, security, risk and compliance requirements of business and ICT, including well-defined risk assessment, so that you are in control and compliant.

In addition:

  • you have completed a bachelor's or HBO education;
  • you have extensive work experience in the pension or insurance sector as a product manager;
  • you know both the pension market and the products, as well as the processes and ICT, and you can combine that knowledge.
