Infrastructure Project Manager - Contract OIR35 Length - 6 months (very likely to be extended)
Rate - c£520
Location - Remote (with adhoc requirement on-site)
We're looking to speaking to experienced PM's to engage on an initial 6 months contract with a well-known and reputable organisation based in Oxfordshire.
The role - You will be responsible for managing several strategic infrastructure projects, including a private cloud migration and a public cloud re-engineering initiative. You will work with internal SMEs, 3rd party suppliers and business stakeholders to deliver projects within the parameters of scope, time, cost and quality.
You will have extensive experience as a delivery focused, hands-on project manager, with a proven track record of delivering complex technical infrastructure migrations, upgrades and re-platforming.
You will have:
- previous experience of managing infrastructure platform upgrades, data centre migrations and public cloud adoption projects.
- strong IT Project Management skills and experience, able to manage multiple projects and execute multiple streams of activity in parallel.
- experienced and competent in Matrix managing internal SMEs and 3rd party suppliers including remote teams.
- strong communication and stakeholder management, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- a broad understanding of technology including infrastructure, security/compliance, data and operations.
- practical experience integrating Waterfall and Agile delivery methods and principles.
