Java Developer (In Test) required by a market leading global consultancy for an immediate start on high profile eCommerce Project....
Core required skills/experience:
- Author BDD Test Scenarios and implement using Java to execute against software component and demonstrate that the expected results match the actual results
- Identify and plan to Automate new features developed within the sprint
- Improve Automation coverage where needed
- Maintain Automation suite, plan execution against different environments and analyse results.
- Take feedback/suggestions from System Test team to further enhance
- Provide assistance to the team during the release management process
- Investigate problems/failures in software as a result of testing and provide input to team
- Working with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions
- Expertise in using Selenium WebDriver with Java, Cucumber, Gherkin, Appium
- Knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins
- Knowledge of Version Control (Git)
- Strong SQL knowledge and API Testing (SOAP/REST)
- Experience using practices such as Continuous Delivery, TDD and BDD
- Ability to perform functional testing of software and record results in an appropriate, clear and concise format
- Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
- Experience working within an AGILE environment
- Use industry standard tools such as JIRA
- Proven Automated and Manual test experience, Testing complex software applications
