Cloud And Infrastructure Architect
3 months - Inside IR35 - £587 a day
My client, a major utilities company are currently looking to recruit a vastly experienced Cloud And Infrastructure Architect for an initial 3 month contract. Reporting into one of the Lead architects, your role will be focusing on the design and implementation of a variety of on-prem and hybrid technology. You will ideally have a wide-ranging infrastructure exposure, including as many of the following as possible:
i. Provision of infrastructure for business applications
ii. Digital solutions
iii. Cloud delivery - Microsoft Azure infrastructure and costing
iv. Cloud delivery - AWS infrastructure and costing
v. Application Delivery - Citrix XenApp, MS App-V,
vi. Network design
vii. Middleware
i. Servers and storage
ii. Virtualisation - Hyper-V and VMware
iii. Provision of infrastructure for databases - SQL and Oracle
iv. Operations
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
Project solution architecture experience
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
Excellent analytical and technical skills
