Description
Our global client has 4 x Project Coordinator roles available. They are looking for people with experience working for any major telco on fixed projects (MPLS/IPVPN). As it's a global project, there is a requirement for Saturday working hours, with a mid-week day in lieu.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting with tracking and reporting throughout the project life cycle, from initial opportunity through to successful handover into business-as-usual operations, with a focus on meeting project commitments through strong teamwork and pragmatism.
Key skills needed:
- Worked for a major telco in last five years eg BT, Orange, Telstra, Virgin etc
- Delivered Fixed projects to international sites eg MPLS/IPVPN or DIA
- Customer Facing - front line experience
- Third Party Management eg Suppliers of circuits and hardware (if they have experience in 2. above then they are likely to have this too)
- Must be dynamic and be able to work around the process
- A successful track record of supporting complex customer projects within a fast-paced ICT or Telecommunications industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with remote team members and stakeholders
- Strong digital skills across the whole O365 suite, (PowerApps and PowerBI are desirable)
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
- A dynamic approach to working in Matrix teams, with a drive towards team empowerment and self-sufficiency
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving and issue resolution
- Experience of working in a highly matrixed, Agile organisation
- A keen interest in continuous improvement and digitisation
