Network Engineer (Cisco Gold Partner) - 1 month initial contract - Inside IR35 - Remote
I urgently require a Network Engineer for an initial 9 Month contract based remotely.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate having gained experience in the following areas:
- Strong, hands-on IP Networking skills, ideally CCNA certified or working towards the equivalent, with previous relevant experience of the provision of these skills within a Service Provider Environment
- Hands-on experience of RIP, RIP2, and BGP routing protocols. Cisco switching and routing; VPN technologies
- Use of Network Management applications (eg: tools such as HP Service Manager and Orchestream)
The ideal candidate will further be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Strong team player with a flexible mindset and logical approach
- Confidence and ability to work on own initiative sometimes out of normal business hours
- Pro-active approach to decision making and problem-solving, ability to work without supervision
- Willingness to travel to locations throughout the UK. Full UK Driving License essential.
- Customer-Centric attitude and ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Innovative and able to pick up new systems and processes quickly, with a willingness to get involved in unfamiliar areas of technology

Please note that due to the change to off-payroll working/IR35 legislation, which is due to be implemented in April 2021, the successful applicant would be expected to engage via an FCSA accredited umbrella company for the duration of this contract.
