Description
In this role there will be a large pipeline of work upgrading and modernising the entire system which sits in Market and Trade Data. The selected candidate will be involved in designing, developing and enhancing the Server Side of the application and converting the system from monolith to microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Core Java and Microservices paired with banking product knowledge across a variety of asset classes such as equities, Fixed Income, cash, currencies etc.
Candidates will need:
- Expert Java Development skills
- Strong Spring Boot, Microservices experience
- Good understanding of banking systems and trade/market data
- Skills with Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) are beneficial
- Skills with Spark, Kafka or Hazelcast would be advantageous
- Strong Agile Development background and experience with TDD/BDD concepts and testing skills
