DevOps Engineer
Protiviti is looking for a DevOps Engineer to become one of our Associates in order to work closely with 1 of our end customers.
This will initially be remotely from home for an initial 6 month contract period with a negotiable rate to be discussed, to developing/enhancing a Puppet module for an automation Solution with developing and supporting Ansible playbooks to trigger Puppet Tasks and developing Shell Scripts on Linux/Unix Servers following the software development standards.
The DevOps Engineer will need experience in the below:
- Ideally Puppet Certified Professional - Puppet Enterprise Architecture and code development
- Experience with software development & coding- Ruby, Python
- Experience with Ansible playbooks.
- Understanding of software release management using GitHub
- Unix knowledge - bash, Scripting
- DevOps tools - Splunk, Postman, Jenkins
- Experience with plugins and maintaining software solutions
