Description

Templeton and Partners are looking for a Correspondent Banking SME for a 3 month rolling contract in London inside IR35.

Your tasks:

- Manage the onboarding and ongoing Due Diligence of Correspondent Relationship (CR) customers and ensure that cases are accurately prioritized, assigned and assessed.
- Support the business by managing the risk of existing and new VOSTRO relationships, attending key FC forums and committees.
- Support Transaction Monitoring teams with TM Alerts relating to VOSTRO accounts.
- In collaboration with L2 and the business, review and prepare Correspondent Relationship Escalations to support the assessment of the Correspondent Banking Due diligence questionnaire (including preparatory work for compliance-to-compliance calls where required).
- Build and maintain excellent stakeholder management with Line 2 FC Compliance local and global teams and Front Office to ensure a high-quality integrated service is provided.
- Support in the creation and delivery of Product specific training to ensure that businesses understand compliance initiatives and act upon recommendations as appropriate.
- Provide ongoing support to the Global FC Ops team(s) in the provision of advice and guidance, collating documentation, reviewing policy, procedures, and regulatory requests.
- Manage the provision of summary MI on the status of the escalation team’s activities and identified risks/issues to the Corporate Bank FC MI and KPI analyst for monthly and/or ad-hoc reporting, including trend analyses.
- Support Project initiatives related to CR and the management of alerts relating to VOSTROs

Your profile:


- Expert understanding of correspondent banking and domestic/cross border payment messaging (including but not limited to SWIFT MT/SEPA, Faster Payments).
- Excellent Knowledge of Financial Crime risks and how these are managed in Wholesale Banking
- Excellent MI and reporting skills to deliver complex messages into simple format
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good stakeholder engagement skills and be able to work effectively with front office, compliance, and other key stakeholders.
